Pictures have surfaced on the official website of Climax Studios of their latest 'action platformer' project. From what I can see, its protagonist has a familiar Arabic fashion style: Hand braces, a red sash and a nice old scimitar on his back. Oh, and that trademark black, tousled hair. Everything, including setting and general graphical appearance, hits all the Prince of Persia notes. But here, judge for yourself.
If it isn't PoP, somebody is getting sued.
IGN recently asked about progress on the Middle-Eastern based series, and were politely informed that the series was 'paused'. However, in my opinion, it looks like they are gearing up for a sudden and (what was meant to be) unexpected announcement: The Prince is back. Of course, the obvious place for his re-coronation would be E3 this June, but only time can tell if this is truly the fruit of his loins. Keep checking back for udpates as the come!
